The largest omelet ever made weighed a whopping 6.466 tons (14,225 pounds) and was cooked in Portugal in 2012. It used 145,000 eggs and took over six hours to cook!

 Eggs were once believed to be unhealthy due to their cholesterol content. However, research has shown that the cholesterol in eggs does not significantly raise blood cholesterol levels for most people. In fact, they offer numerous health benefits.

The world record for the most eggs laid by a chicken in one year is held by a White Leghorn hen named Harriet. She laid a staggering 371 eggs in 365 days!

Eggs have been revered and symbolized as a source of life, fertility, and rebirth across different cultures for centuries. They are associated with celebrations such as Easter and represent new beginnings and the cycle of life.

 In 2011, a jeweler in Japan created a luxury egg sculpture adorned with over 500 diamonds and worth a staggering $2.1 million. This dazzling creation was inspired by the idea of an egg as a symbol of new beginnings and hope.
